Group ride along cycle routes and quiet roads to the Lake and Highfields. All Women WelcomeJoin us for a leisurely short women's bike ride starting from Nottingham train station and riding. loop along the canal to Lakeside, around the lake and back along the Super Cycle Highway (nottingham's best segreated cycleway!)
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group. This is the perfect chance to build confidence on a bike and meet other women.
MEETING POINT: Nottingham Train Station, opposite Tesco on the pedestrian walkway entrance to the station. Here is a link to google maps and see the photo below. We'll be meeting from 5.45am ready to ride promptly at 6pm.

You'll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders and mechanics who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. This ride is part of our Travel Well project in partnership with Nottingham City Council and funded by Active Travel England. All attendees will need to complete a registration survey before riding, you can save time by completing it first here , or you can use one of our devices when you meet us at the start.
You won't need anything fancy; just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
